We are not a Government body. We abide by the ACT Government regulations of owning and keeping dogs in the ACT.

The A.C.T Canine Association inc. (trading as Dogs ACT) is the controlling body for Pure Bred Dogs and Dog Sports within the Australian Capital Territory and is a supporting member of the Australian National Kennel Council.

Our primary objective is to promote in every way, the general improvement of pure bred dogs, responsible dog ownership and the varied roles in which dogs contribute to today's society.
